Boat Show Toronto 2020

WHAT: The TORONTO INDOOR WAKEBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS, hosted by the 62nd annual Toronto International Boat Show, returns to kick off the 2020 season of the World Series of Wakeboarding. Back for a second year, this exhilarating event features prize giveaways, pro autographs, music and play-by-play announcing. Catch the biggest names in wakeboarding compete for $10,000 on the world's indoor lake, including World Champions Meagan Ethell (United States) and Guenther Oka (United States). The TORONTO INDOOR WAKEBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS is part of the Toronto International Boat Show, the largest indoor boat show in North America. The Toronto Boat Show features over 1,200 new boats, educational seminars and lifestyle programming as well as free boat rides on The Lake, wakeboarding lessons and a sailing simulator.

Mad Scientist Water Ski Show and Wakeboard Demos Riders comprised of members of the Canadian National Ski Show Team will perform an adrenaline-filled demo for media in the dark, wearing LED-powered wetsuits. Witness their spectacular grinds, tricks and flips on the world’s largest indoor lake for boaters.

Summer has come early to the city with the return of the 62nd annual Toronto International Boat Show. Media are invited to preview highlights of this year’s show, at the Enercare Centre, including new activities across the million square feet of show floor and on the world’s largest indoor lake.

The Return of Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel Fans around the world go ‘nuts’ for Twiggy, the world-famous water-skiing squirrel, who not only entertains with her special talent but is also an advocate for water safety. Twiggy took a brief break after years of performing across North America, appearing in movies and music videos, and becoming an internet sensation — but is returning to the 2020 Toronto Boat Show by popular demand.
